One of my mentors** strongly
suggests that you have a “zero level”
to your work.
This is the work that you ABSOLUTELY
do every single day, even if you do
nothing else work related.
Your zero level is the chug-a-chug-a
engine that allows you to have consistent
momentum in your business, even
when there are days (or even weeks)
that you are not focused.
I have two things on my zero level
Because all of my work is relationship
oriented, every day I do two things
to keep in contact with important people
like you.
Coming up I’ll share what those two things
are. For today, I challenge you to
explore your own Zero Level.
What is it that is important for you
to do daily -that is not hard, not too
time consuming – yet creates your own
chug-a-chug-a foundation of momentum?
Yesterday I spent the entire morning
in the pottery painting studio.
It’s the first time I’ve been there without
child in tow. Three hours were devoted
to designing and creating a mandala
mug. My new mug representing
the things and the energy that are important
to me.
I could take that time right out of my work day
because I knew my Zero-Level and I knew
it would get done.
Figure out yours.
**Thank you Diane Hochman for the concept

WOW!!! Best advice in all the years of searching. So often after a week-end or some time away from the office (i.e. holiday) we tend to find it difficult to get the momentum going again (that in itself can “steal” a day or 2).
I do understand that all of us should have a “rest day”, but think of it, even in Bible times, the shepherd had to at least count his sheep when letting them out to pasture (Yes, even on a Sunday or other holy day of rest!).
I am sure with this “”Zero Level” technique one would not be able to only keep an eye on your “flock” (which would mean intervention can still be speedily and effective) BUT it would surely reduce stress and anxiety levels, keeping one “in the loop”.
Thank you Deborah!
