Disneyland Disaster with Toddler Prompts Struggling Mom to Launch Six-Figure Income Business

A few months ago, while attending a networking event I wandered around a booth that sold the most functional bags for women I have ever seen. I tried one on, heard the sales pitch and grabbed a card from the woman in the booth. Over the next few weeks, every time I thought about my upcoming trip to Europe, I imagined myself carrying that bag.

In preparation for the holidays my husband asked me what I wanted. Since I usually desire nothing in the way of gifts, he was stunned when I said “I want this bag I saw”. I searched my wallet, desk, car, pockets, to no avail. I could not find the card I had taken and could not remember the name of the bag. All I could remember is that one wore it across your body like a girl scout badge sash. And so with that small amount of information, I went searching in Google.

Miraculous place – Google. Within a few days of trying different words like “bag scarf” and “shawl bag” I somehow remembered to put in the word “Sash” with the word “bag”. Up popped this article about the Sash-Bag. As an entrepreneur success coach, I was completely thrilled with this story and even more excited to get help my husband buy me one of these. Nicole was “just a Mom” who struggled with a situation and created a solution.

The moral of the story for you, is that Nicole MacDonald’s story is not unusual. Magic happens when you open your mind to possibilities and have a good support circle to assist you in seeing the potential in you and your ideas. The opportunity for business to grow from the seed of an imagined solution to a problem, is as huge as you believe it to be!
