How to Set and Achieve Major Business Goals without Fear
One of the very best goal setting and Achieving techniques is one I learned from Jack Canfield in The Success Principles.
The Law of Attraction in business is not about wishing or energetic magic. Its about setting a strong intention and living as if it has already been achieved. Then working hard to fill in the details. Brain energy does not deal in time the way we do in day to day life. If you regularly let your brain know that something is true, it will make decisions and take actions that make it so. The vibration of belief will allow and in fact magnetically draw to you, that which you are working towards.
When I first started using this technique I followed it to a T. I had a small index card spiral notebook. In it I had separate pages for each goal – along with outcome, date and details. Every day, morning and night, I read these pages out loud with a deep feeling of gratitude. In the hours between I worked.
For instance, in my book back in 2010 (when I was newly involved in a direct sales situation where BMW’s were one of the reward perks) I wrote.
“It is November 30, 2010 . I am beyond thrilled and excited to have earned my new paid for BMW in just 3 months. I am blessed and grateful for my hard work which yielded this cool reward plus extra income”
Beginning in August 2010 I recited the phrases twice per day. I earned the car in October 30, 2010.
At the same time, our family was in a position of needing to rent out our home temporarily. I was very particular about who would live there and was prepared to leave it empty if the right situation did not come along. In my notebook I wrote.
“It is April 2011. I am so relieved and grateful to have met the perfect family to live in our home for a year . They are exactly the type of people I trust and also willing and able to pay the rent and act as simple property managers too. Yay!”
I recited this one too, every morning and evening, with feeling standing in front of the mirror. On April 20 2011, we rented our house to the most wonderful couple – Dina and Ralph . They moved in that summer and lovingly lived in and took care of our home for the next 12 months.
The technique is simple. Decide. Set the goal. Write what you desire in the future as if it has already occurred, with emotion and gratitude. Put in all the details particularly dates, times, other numbers. Twice per day read them out loud with FEELING. Get to work.
